New Customers With every new purchase of LightSpeed, customers receive access to 30 days of telephone support from Xsilva, creators of LightSpeed. Customers will continue to always have access to all updates and bug fixes to the product they purchased. After the initial 30 day period has expired, customers will continue to have access to online and email tech support, or may choose to purchase a 12 MonthSupport and Upgrade Subscription.
What are Upgrades? Upgrades are changes in the major version number of the product and generally refer to the addition of major functionality to the software. For example, you would upgrade version 1.0 to 1.1, or version 5.5 to 6.0.
The upgrade will be free if a customer is covered as a new customer in their initial 30 day period, or if they are covered by a 12 Month Support and Upgrade Subscription.
What are Updates? Updates are changes in the minor version number of the product and generally refer to bug fixes and the addition of minor functionality. For example, you would update version 4.0.2 to version 4.0.3. Customers will always have free access to updates to the product they purchased.
